From the airport to the hotel
– By metro:
In the Metro do Aeroporto metro station, take the line E in towards the Estádio do Dragão metro station. Exit in Casa da Música (HF Ipanema Porto is 1 Km away).
– By bus:
Near the airport, take the bus n.º 601 (in direction to Cordoaria), and get off at Casa da Música (HF Ipanema Porto is 1 Km away).

From downtown to the hotel
– By metro:
Leaving from the Avenida dos Aliados, continue by going up towards the Trindade metro station (behind the City Hall/Câmara Municipal do Porto) and take the line A, B, C, or E, towards Casa da Música.
– By bus:
Leaving from the Avenida dos Aliados, take the bus n.º 200 (towards Castelo do Queijo) or the bus n.º 207 (towards Foz-Mercado) at the Praça D. João I (next to the Teatro Rivoli). Get off the bus at the Massarelos bus stop (the HF Ipanema Porto is located within 0,5 Km).
– By car:
Leaving from the Avenida dos Aliados, go up the street until the traffic lights, and turn left to Rua de Ceuta, then entering the Túnel de Ceuta. Once in the tunnel, continue towards Hospital Sto. António. In the exit of the tunnel take the right, passing through the Palácio de Cristal up to Praça da Galiza. At the traffic lights turn left to Rua do Campo Alegre (the HF Ipanema Porto is 0,5 Km away.)
Travel
Air
The quickest and most efficient way to reach Porto´s city centre from the airport is by metro – line E-Purple (Aeroporto – Trindade). This line operates daily from 06:00 – 01:00 and from here, getting to the city centre takes about 30 minutes. The Andante ticket (which has a price of 0.60€) needed for this journey can be purchased at any of the automatic ticket machines in the Metro station – occasional ticket (Z4). It costs 2€, is valid for 1 hour and 15 minutes and is also rechargeable. Don’t forget, one card per person.

To get to the city centre by bus, you can take either line 601, 602, 604 or 3M (a night bus that operates between 12:30am-5:30am). In this case, you can buy a single trip ticket on the bus, costing 2€. Furthermore, you can also benefit from Resende Bus Services and FlixBus that connects the Airport to various areas of the city.

Another option is to take a taxi which costs between 20€/30€ or rent a car at the airport. The journey usually takes 20 minutes depending on traffic.
Train
Porto is served by international trains, Alfa Pendular (high-speed train), intercity, inter-regional, regional and urban trains, connecting the city to several destinations inside and outside the country.
The Campanhã train station is the busiest in the city and the S. Bento railway station is the most central one.
CP´s urban trains allow you to travel to nearby towns, such as Vila Nova de Gaia, Espinho, Guimarães, Braga, Viana do Castelo and Aveiro. Train tickets must be purchased before your journey, from sales points or automatic ticket machines.
